RC calibration

Once the plane is assembled, the next step is calibrating the radio. In this tutorial, FLY SKY FS-TH9X will be used:

First of all, we will turn it on. This screen should be shown after adjusting it properly.

PWM INPUTS

After pressing the MENU button we will enter in settings.

PWM INPUTS

We will enter in SYSTEM pressing MENU button.

PWM INPUTS

Using UP and DN buttons we will go to TYPE SELECT and we will press MENU button.

PWM INPUTS

Here, we will select ACRO and we will press MENU button. Once ACRO is selected we will go back pressing EXIT button.

PWM INPUTS

Now, we will go to STICK SET and we will select MODE 2. Note that if you select another mode, elevons behaviour will change.

PWM INPUTS

We will go back pressing EXIT button twice and we will select the spanner using UP button.

PWM INPUTS

After pressing MENU button we will go to D/R EXP.

As we can see in the image, a graph will appear. We can move between different graphs using + and - buttons. We will only change this graphs if we notice that our roll/pitch joystick doesn't work in some angle, if we notice that it has a death angle. Changing the slope of the line the amplitude of the joystick will change. You can try to change graphs and see what happens.
